This is an important time to get involved! We continue to wrestle with some very challenging issues – Surprise Billing, overcrowding in the ED, psych-boarding, transport in both rural and urban areas. Emergency Departments are swamped and critical staffing shortages are being reported. Many emergency medicine colleagues have expressed a heightened sense of anxiety and frustration. This is where we can make a difference. MEACEP believes that our members have critical knowledge and valuable experiences. We hope that you will volunteer for one of our committees and help shape the discussions and decisions made in 2022.
